COLNE - ARE YOU OUT THERE?

💥 Cannot wait to get back to the magnificent MUNI THEATRE In COLNE on 21st Feb!

🎵 It's an amazing venue in an area most famed for it's annual Blues Festival 🎸, but...we are bringing the ROCK!! This is always an awesome night as we get to see all you beautiful locals from Lancs. and Yorkshire having a 'dance off' down the front...

📍 There's seats or standing here - so something for everyone, no excuses, see ya there!! 👇🏽

💥 Whoever sang I Wanna Rock 'n' Roll All Night (hmm..can you help, anyone?😉) should have been at Nottingham's ROCK CITY last Saturday!

👊🏽 And you could be forgiven for thinking that they actually were, as we were ably assisted by our old buddy Ash (Paul Stanley) and co. in 'DRESSED TO KILL' who opened the show as our Special Guests and of course were Hotter Than Hell. Which, in turn, set the scene for what turned out to be an epic night - possibly our best ever in Notts. We hope to turn this into an annual bash now, as our spiritual home. Also, watch this space (Ace), as we hope to do some more shows with DTK in future!! 🔥

🙏🏽So, THANK YOU Nottingham for turning out in such force, with equal support from the Lizzy-massive from our shows in Grimsby, Hucknall, Derby, Stoke, Matlock, Nantwich, Ashfield etc. It remains an absolute thrill for us to go from a humble start back in '93 to headlining what is still one of the most aspirational and important rock venues - not just in the country but easily in Europe.
.
IMPORTANT SHOUT OUTS: DTK of course - so good, we're gonna do another...ROCK CITY crew, who as ever went above and beyond...Ben from Grove Street - remember Ben, Wayne's nephew - now fronting one of Europe's most up-and-coming hardcore acts but still humble enough to come and crew for his Unc..., Ian Davis our old pal and motorbike guru, Kev and Herby - who landed us our first ever Notts gig at Hucknall Working Mens Club way back in the '90's and have championed us ever since...Europcar in Hunslet who leapt to our rescue when our Sprinter failed us the day before the gig!

BY APPOINTMENT WITH HRH (Hard Rock Harvey)…

The lad’s done it again.  Serious rock fan, collector extraordinaire and all round larger than life character (in his own unassuming, friendly manner) Dave ‘Hard Rock’ Harvey (go on - ask him why “Hard Rock’. Trust us, there’s a story…) has come up with another incredible Tom Noll original oil commission.

Following on from the shockingly well-received little interview that Wayne did with him - which was more for a laugh, than anything else - about the original Gary Moore oil painting that he also commissioned from Tom  there’s now a follow up interview to be posted on our social media anytime soon. Here he discusses his latest acquisition, an original oil painting taken from a photo that Dave took himself in 1984 at one of Thin Lizzy’s final-ever gigs, where Phil Lynott invited guitarists past and present to perform The Rocker.

Dave will be the keeper of the original but 100 prints will be made available.

Saw the band at Milton Keynes for the first time. As a big Lizzy fan who had seen the real band live on multiple occasions I thought LL were brilliant!
You put a smile on my face with your love of the music while being your own individual selves and it was obvious you enjoyed it as much as the audience did.
Great gig and I’ll be back to see you again.

Anybody that knows me, including the guys in the band know I am a massive Thin Lizzy fan and Phil Lynott is my biggest hero.
Limehouse Lizzy keep the band’s music alive and they keep Phil’s flame burning and that is so special to me.
I love going to a Limehouse Lizzy gig because I get to hear those seminal songs and I also get to sing my heart out.
Keep doing what you do guys because it matters so much to so many.

Having seen many tributes to the band I would, with great confidence, assert that Limehouse Lizzy are the best out there. The music is played with confidence and not forced. It takes great skill to achieve that. A brilliant band that keeps the legacy and standard alive.
